The meat industry, unlike other industries, generates a different type of waste, which means that the purifying process in the industry has a significant cost. Which is why Mecaniques Segalés has designed equipment specifically for this sector.
Products generated by slaughterhouses:
Intestinal content, where we employ the MS100 separators, has a high concentration of dry material. With this equipment we get a solid fraction or slurry which can be used as fertilizer and a liquid fraction of particles smaller than 100 microns which we send to the purification plant. Thanks to this process we save purification and treatment costs on the whole solid fraction extracted.
Cleaning receiving areas and trucks. Because the percentage of solid fraction is very low in this section, we employ the Compack 1 equipment. With this equipmentwe get a solid fraction or slurry which can be used for fertilization and a liquid fraction with particles of less than 100 microns which is passed to the purification plant.
Thanks to this process, we avoid purification and treatment costs of the whole solid fraction extracted in the case that we have the first Compack 1 Mixed equipment.
Waste from cleaning receiving areas. As this partis very liquid and greasy, we employ the Compack 1 with hot water system. With this we get a solid fraction to treat at a treatment plant and a liquid with particles up to 100 microns. This equipment allows us to treat large quantities of product with minim expense and correct functioning assurance.
